A one-of-a-kind space, for your one-of-a-kind event…

From weddings to festivals, concerts to corporate galas, Brick South is ready for you. The former machine shop’s gleaming concrete floors anchor expansive ceilings with exposed steel beams. This space is at once rustic and urban, recollecting its history as a hub of locomotive repair for the Maine Central Railroad in the late 1800s. This is where Maine’s first electric crane hoisted 24-ton engines into place, to the amazement of onlookers. It’s where still today, the water meets the rails (and air): equidistant from the Portland City Center and the Portland International Jetport, adjacent to the Amtrak Downeaster train and Concord Coach Lines bus terminals: steeped in history but with the essential modern amenities, Brick South is easy to get to, hard to leave.
